Air Ambulance Cheque Presentation
Press Release - Reading Evening Post -11/4/2006:
Personal Fitness Trainer, Ryan Phillips presents an £850 cheque to the Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance crew today at their site in Maidenhead. The money was raised by "Team Phillips-Fit" comprising of Ryan and three of his clients after completing the Bradfield Concorde Triathlon in 2005.
Ryan said “This event was a great challenge for my clients as it was their first ever triathlon! Every member of Team Phillips-Fit completed the race, it was a magnificent achievement for everyone especially Bill Marshal who was the eldest competitor on the day, at 70 years of age! It has also been a pleasure to use this event to raise money for the Air Ambulance Trust, who provide an amazing and speedy emergency service in the area!"
Mrs Stevie Horton, Director of Fundraising, said “We are very grateful to Ryan and his team for their support. We couldn’t keep flying without the kindness and generosity of people like Ryan and his clients”
